Mr. Eugene Alexander, age 72 of Snead, AL., passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife: Mildred Sharon Alexander of Snead, AL.; his children: Charlotte & Shea Crump of Adamsville, AL., Jeannie & Brian Ginn of Snead, AL., Carolyn & Richard Otinger of Oneonta, AL., and David and Amy Hall of Huntsville, AL.; 8 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and his siblings: Jerry Alexander and Barbara Key both of Jasper, AL.

Larry Holly, Curtis Hawkins, and Morris Cook will conduct the funeral service on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 @ 11am at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery. Mr. Alexander will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Monday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday from 8:00am until funeral time.

Harold Cook, Jimmy Dale Gibbs, Frank Gibbs, Toby Lee, J.J. Long, Steven Junk, Bobby Junk, and Brian Sanders will serve as pallbearers.

Larry Holly will begin the service with a prayer followed by the reading of the obituary. Then, Bruce Eller and Dana Hawkins will sing "Amazing Grace - My chains are gone". Next, Curtis Hawkins will read scripture from the Holy Bible and bring forth a God given message. Afterwords, Dana Hawkins and Patty Collins will sing "Sweet Beulah Land". And finally, the service will end with Morris Cook delivering an astonishing Eulogy of Gene's life.
