Mrs. Edna C. (Hawkins) Kent, age 67 of Snead, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband – Archie Kent of Snead, AL., her son – Robbie Mitchell of Oneonta, AL., her daughter – Wendy Phillips of Bellgreen, AL., her son and daughter in law – Jason and Kristi Mitchell of Allgood, AL., her daughter – Donna Kent of Birmingham, AL., her grandchildren – Katie Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Jeremy Mitchell, Holly and Jonathan Carroll, Hunter Boswell, and Aubrey Boswell, her sister – Dorothy Horton of Oneonta, AL., her sister and brother in law – Bobbie and Don Jackson of Oneonta, AL., her sister – Mary Lou Bates of Double Springs, AL., her sister and brother in law – Carolyn and Robbie Dunn of Oneonta, AL., her sister and brother in law – Kathy and Dale Ward of Oneonta, AL., her sister and brother in law Patricia and Ravinell Kelly of Haleyville, AL., her brother and sister in law – Gay and Nell Hawkins of Oneonta, AL., and her brother and sister in law - Richard and Carolyn Hawkins of Oneonta, AL.

She is preceded in death by her grandson - Mason Phillips, her parents – Jessie and Molly (Dover) Hawkins, her brothers – Bill Hawkins and Ralph Hawkins, and her sisters - Rebecca Hawkins and Hope Garrison.

Brother Don Garrison and Brother Matthew Fallin will conduct the Funeral Service, Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hood Cemetery. Mrs. Kent will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Randy Bates, Hunter Boswell, Jeremy Mitchell, John King, Adam Garrison, Bobby Garrison and Ethan Rowell.
