Mrs. Dortha Sue "Dot" Cooper, age 80 of Altoona, AL., passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at her daughters home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her children – Randy Carlton Cooper of Douglas, AL., Kenneth Wayne Cooper (Dianne) of Douglas, AL., Rita Faye Stiefel (Lane) of Peidmont, AL., Freida Ruth Dixon (Billy) of McClarty, AL., Lisa West (Robert) of Altoona, AL., and Stacey Harper (Bubba) of The Wilson Chapel Community of Altoona, AL., 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, her sister – Bonnie Bramlett (Clinton) of Valley Head, AL.

Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her husband – Carlton Cooper, her great grandchild – Jayten McKade Cooper, her parents – Marvin and Ruth (Potterfield) Helms, and 4 brothers.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.  Mrs. Cooper will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will – Cody Cooper, Jesse Cooper, DeWayne Cooper, J. Rowell, Kevin Stiefel, Brier Harper, Bubba Harper, Billy Dixon, and Robert West.
