Mr. Donald Ray Thompson, age 81 of Walnut Grove, passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center South.

He is survived by his daughter – Karen Matthews; son and daughter-in-law – Mike and Sheila Thompson; grandchildren – Brian Lawson (Jenny), Cody Thompson (Shanna), Alesha Matthews Isbell (Revis), and Saleta McBrayer (Jonathan); and 7 great grandchildren.

Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his wife – Betty Sue Thompson; daughter – Marchelle Thompson; son – Kenneth Thompson; parents – H.G and Hattie J. Thompson; and siblings – Nancy Bearden (Doug), Charles Thompson (Lillie), Randall Thompson, and Faye Thompson Provost.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 12:00 PM at The Graveside at Antioch Cemetery in Blountsville. There is no visitation.

Pallbearers will be – Brian Lawson, Cody Thompson, Jonathan McBrayer, Kane Lawson, and Revis Isbell.
