Mr. Donald Lewis Adams, age 84 of the Brooksville Crossing Community of Blountsville, AL., passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Adams is a Veteran of The United States Army and fought in the Korean War Conflict.

He is survived by his children: Randall and Faye Adams of Albertville, AL., and Kathy and Howard Chambers of Brooksville, AL.; his grandchildren: Wase and Renee Adams of Douglas, AL., Shawn and Amy Adams of McClarty, AL., Clifford and Amber Adams of Albertville, AL., Anthony and Jennifer Chambers of Brooksville, AL., Keith and Heidi Chambers of Oneonta, AL., and Danny Chambers of Brooksville, AL.; 15 great grandchildren; and his siblings: Sue Rigsby of Baileyton, AL., Gladys Smith of Anniston, AL., Betty LaRue of Albertville, AL., and Sammy Adams of Arab, AL.

Donald is predeceased in death by his wife: Verlie Adams; his parents: Gussie and Annie Ruby (Jones) Adams; and his siblings: Eugene Adams and Fred Adams.

Brother Kenneth Adams will conduct the 2pm funeral service Thursday, July 30, 2015 at The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brooksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Adams will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00pm until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Wade Adams, Jeff Noojen, Clifford Adams, Anthony Chambers, Keith Chambers, and Danny Chambers.
