Mr. Dodson E. Logan, age 67 of Allgood, AL., passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016.

Mr. Logan is a Veteran of The United States Army. During his service to the United States, Mr. Logan earned the following medals: National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal/with 4 Campaign Stars, Two Overseas Bars, The Expert Badge (M-14), and The Marksman Badge (M-16).

Dodson is survived by his wife: Jane Crowe Logan of Allgood, AL.; his son: Jeff Link of Allgood, AL.; his son: Shane Logan of Allgood, AL.; his daughter: Kim Logan (Jason Crowe) of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his brother: Billy Logan of Oneonta, AL.; and his sister and brother-in-law: Christy and James Marsee of Tuscaloosa, AL..

Mr. Logan is preceded in death by his son: Terrell Link; his great granddaughter: Kaylee Mae Link; and his parents: Roy Elmer and Julie Beatrice (Cornelius) Logan.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Allgood. Mr. Logan will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12(Noon) until funeral time.

Jeffery Link, TJ Link, Jason Crowe, Will Garrett, Michael Morton, and Johnny Crowe will serve as Pallbearers with Jeff Link and Shane Logan serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
