Mrs. Diane Smith Gillilan, age 72 of Altoona, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 29, 2022. She had battled cancer for many years. She was a loving and giving mother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by many.

She is survived by her children – Dana (Melton) Terrell, Danae Ford; her grandchildren Connor Terrell and Jacob Terrell, Dalton Ford, Stormy Destiny Ford (Philip Kirkwood); great grandchild Cain Ray Kirkwood, brother Wayne (Patsy)Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gillilan was preceded in death by her husband - Danny Wayne Gillilan, parents – Roy "Dink" Smith and "Polly" Annie B. Smith, siblings – Raymond Smith and Glenn Smith.

Melton Terrell and Dana Terrell will conduct the Memorial Service for Mrs. Gillilan on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM until service time.
