Mrs. Dera Davenport Freeman, age 91 of Snead, AL, passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence.

She is survived by her brother – Alfred Davenport of The Taits Gap Community of Oneonta, AL; daughter – Diane Camp of Perdido Key, FL; her sons – Bruce (Margo) Freeman of Hartselle, AL and Kelly Freeman of Snead, AL; her grandchildren – Lindsey Reagan Camp, Casey Camp Mettler (Larsen), Sydney Freeman Hamilton (Jake), Mark Jackson Freeman, Bailey Suzanne Freeman; her great grandchildren – Amelia Camp Edelmann and Samual Ross Edelmann, Dylan Larry Mettler, Parker Reese Hamilton.

Mrs. Freeman is preceded in death by her husband – Jack Freeman; her son – Jeffrey Freeman; her parents – Newt and Fannie (Dillard) Davenport; her twin sister – Dena Davenport Hammett; and her siblings - Ralph Davenport, Jay Davenport, Nell Davenport Long, and Clarence Davenport.

Brother Bric Latham and Brother Curtis Hawkins will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Altoona / Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Mrs. Freeman will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be - Joe Smith, David Smith, Steve Hammett, John Hayes, Michael Hayes, and Barry Long.
