Mr. David Charles York, age 71 of Horton, AL., passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his residence.

He is survived by his daughter – Tonya Patterson (James Ray); 3 grandchildren; his brother – Zeb York IV; his sisters – Nell Rose Siman and Louise Delouch; and his friends – Randy and Katherine Helms.

He is preceded in death by his parents – Zeb and Emma (Griggs) York; his son – David McCray York; and his brother – Sinclair York.

Brother David Poole will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – David Kemp, Randy Kemp, Ronald Gremillion, Chad Kemp, Joel Holland, James Peterson, and Colton Peterson.

Honorary Pallbearer will be – Billy Kemp.
