Obituary
Rev. David J. Laughlin, age 67 of Snead, AL., passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his residence.
Reverend Laughlin was a member of the gospel group "The Jesus Messengers" of Snead.
He is survived by his wife - Vickie Ingle Laughlin of Snead, AL.; daughter and son-in-law - Christy and Billy Hill of Snead, AL.; daughter and son-in-law - Jamie and David Pate of Locust Fork, AL.; grandchildren - Billy Hill, Jessica Hill, and Nicholas Pate; great grandchildren - Christian Hill, Cason Hill, and Braxton Gonzalez; and his siblings - Noveline Weeks of Jasper, AL., Glenell and Patsy Laughlin of Blountsville, AL., Lavada Bachelor of Snead, AL., Janie Sue Chavies of Boaz, AL., and Phillip and Catherine Laughlin of Snead, AL..
Rev. Laughlin is preceded in death by his father - Luther Laughlin; mother - Buena Wright Laughlin; and his siblings - Naomi, Bertie, Robert, Ruby, Pat, and Gene.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00am at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Wynnville Cemetery. Rev. Laughlin will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Monday from 10:00am until funeral time.
Lamar Hawkins, Tony Williams, Jeff Stricklin, Shawn Grant, Cody Stricklin, and Wade Stricklin will serve as pallbearers.
