Mr. David Grant Jones, of Blountsville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the age of 56.

David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved playing his bass guitar, hunting and singing in the choir at Grace Baptist Church. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Belinda Ellis Jones of Blountsville; his children Bethany Nichole and Brandon Speegle of Leeds, Kimberly Shea Jones of Blountsville, and Cody Grant Jones of USMC Jacksonville, NC.; his father Reverend L.G.Bud Jones of Blountsville; and his sisters Katrinka and Bob Bryant of Oneonta, and Sadie and Phil Bryant of Horton.

Mr. Jones is predeceased in death by his son Donald Grant Jones and his mother Dana Philen Jones.

Brother Bob Bryant, Reverend L.G. Bud Jones, and Brother Curtis Hawkins will conduct the 11:00am funeral service at Grace Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hood Cemetery. Mr. Jones will lie in state at Grace Baptist Church on Friday from 5:00pm unit 8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am until funeral time. Snead Funeral Home Directing
