Mrs. Darlene Marie Whittington, age 76 of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz, AL.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law – Susan and Daniel Corkran of Horton, AL., her son – Harold Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., her son – Eddie Whittington of the Nixon Chapel Community of Horton, AL., her son – Michael Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., her son and daughter-in-law – Danny and Connie Whittington of the Wilson Chapel Community of Altoona, AL., her son – Tommy Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., her son and daughter-in-law – Donald and Janice Whittington of Snead, AL., 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law – Charles and Mary Gage of Michigan, and her sister – Judith Crabtree of Michigan.

Mrs. Whittington is preceded in death by her husband – Alton Whittington, her son – Jimmy Whittington, her granddaughter – Tonya Noojin, her parents – Wilbert and Della (Rust) Porter, and her sister – Norma Garrett.

Brother Don Garrison will conduct the funeral service on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Wynnville Cemetery.  Mrs. Whittington will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

Pallbearers will be – Orin Cooper, Daniel Corkran, Brian Noojin, John Whittington, Blake Stewart, and Brandon Whittington.

Honorary Pallbearer will be - Landon Cooper.
