Mrs. Darlene Merritt
Age 52 of Oneonta, AL., passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Merritt is survived by her husband – Mark Merritt of Oneonta, AL., her son – Mark Timothy "Tim" Merritt of Oneonta, AL., her daughter and son-in-law – Monica and Daniel Skillman of Oneonta, AL., her daughter and son-in-law – Heather Noel and Michael Brooks of Oneonta, AL., her daughter and son-in-law – Tristan and Ron Lemons of Oneonta, AL., her grandchildren – Abbigail Skillman, Breanna Skillman, Olivia Brooks, Mikayla Merritt, Zachary Skillman, and Hailee Brooks, her father and step mother – Richard and Loretta Moore of Anniston, AL., her mother – Patricia Ford of Oneonta, AL., her brother and sister-in-law – Richard Moore and Ann Dumass of Altoona, AL., her brother and sister-in-law – Michael and Gayla Moore of Anniston, AL.,  her sister and brother-in-law – Gina and Keith Coutch of Locust Fork, her sister and brother-in-law – Jackie and Michael Land of Oneonta, AL., her sister - Patty Cox of Arab, AL., her adopted son - Jeremy Smith of Arab, AL.,her closest friends – Kathy and Aaron Mathis of Oneonta, AL., Michelle and Kenneth Cain of Oneonta, AL., and Rhonda Stanford of Oneonta, AL.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother – Mary Hall, her cousin – David Land, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law – Butch and Shirley Merritt.

Brother Glennis Best will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Merritt will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time.
