Mr. Elmer Densil "Dan" Mahan, age 82 of Snead, AL., passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at his residence.

He is niece – Freda and Larry Johnson; his nephew - Steve and Kim Mahan, his cousin - Hal and Mary Ann Mahan; his special friends – Jody and Tiffany Ponder and their children – Adah Lynn, Myla Mae, Jep, and expecting baby Ponder, all of Snead, AL., special friends – Mike and Linda McEvoy of The Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL.

Mr. Mahan is preceded in death by his son – Greggory Mahan; his parents – William Henry Mahan and Eular Othenia Mahan; and his siblings – Alvie Thomas Mahan, Mary Magdalene Mahan, Ollie Mahan, Bertie Mahan, Curtiss Mahan, Herman Earl Mahan, Hessie Bell Mahan, and Margaret Lovell Mahan.

Brother Hal Mahan will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 12(noon) from the graveside at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, with Snead Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Mahan will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be – Jody Ponder, Mike McEvoy, and Larry Johnson.
