Mrs. Corinne Goble Elrod, age 76 of Oneonta, AL., passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at UAB Hospital.

She loved to take trips, visit her granddaughter in New York, and watch her grandchildren play sports, but she was best known for her love to go to thrift stores and yard sales. She retired from Susan Moore School lunchroom after 37 years of employment.

Mrs. Elrod is survived by her son and daughter-in-law – Olen and Rebecca Goble of Susan Moore, AL.; her daughter and son-in-law – Sandy and Kelly Raney of Susan Moore, AL.; her step - daughter and her husband - Donna and Richard Hopper of Starkville, Mississippi, her grandchildren – Shannon Bailey (Sid Prakash), Joe and Abbie Bailey, Jason and Jennifer Thomas, Kendra and Mitch Koch, Cory and Jenny Goble, Brock and Kristi Nix, Dustin Goble, and HollyAnn and Chris Swann; her step-grandchildren – Deric Raney, Jeremy Raney, and Halley Hawkins; her great grandchildren – Ryleigh Thomas, Kennedi Nix, Nate Koch, Kenzli Nix, Kentli Nix, Wyatt Koch, Gracie Koch, and Grayson Bailey; her sister – Mary Jane Moore of Tarrant, AL., her sister and brother-in-law – Dennis Nell and Jim Hammond of Oneonta, AL.

She preceded in death by her daughter – Pamela Denise Bailey; her first husband – Hollywood Goble; her second husband – Donald Elrod; her parents – Dennis and Margaret (Vickers) Burns; her sister – Jean Dobbs, her sister – Dot Stephenson, and her sister – Sarah Allred.

Brother Larry Gipson and Brother Moses Clark will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Oneonta, with Snead Funeral Home Directing. Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery. Mrs. Elrod will lie-in-repose, at the church, Thursday from 12(noon) until service time.

Pallbearers will be – Joe Bailey, Jason Thomas, Cory Goble, Brock Nix, Mitch Koch, Chris Swann, Dustin Goble, and Sid Prakash.

Honorary Pallbearers will be – Wyatt Koch, Nate Koch, and Grayson Bailey.
