Jean Mann

With heavy hearts and loving remembrance, the family of Jean Mann announces her peaceful passing on July 12, 2026. Born on September 28, 1947, Jean lived a life deeply centered around family, love, and devotion—a life that leaves an enduring imprint on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Jean cherished her role in the home. She was a homemaker whose every day was shaped by caring for and nurturing those she loved most. To describe Jean as family-oriented is not enough; she built her world around her home and her beloved family members. Her warmth and gentle presence created a haven of comfort, laughter, and unwavering support. The doors to her heart were always open, and her love was a constant source of strength for those who depended on her.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts: her sons, Bobby Mann (Lisa), Terry Mann (Stacey), and Dennis Mann (Connie); her daughter, Connie Lee; her brothers, Stanley Collins and Stevie Collins; and her sisters, Marlene Ingram and Diane Hamilton. Their lives are a testament to Jean dedication, her quiet sacrifices, and the countless acts of kindness and care she showed every day.

Jean's journey is now reunited with those who predeceased her and who no doubt awaited her arrival with open arms: her beloved husband, Billy Ray Mann; sons, William Roger Mann and Curtis Lee Mann; father, James Waldrop; mother, Joe Compton; brother, Danny Collins; and sister, Janice Larue. While their absence leaves a void in this world, the spirit of their reunion brings comfort to those mourning her loss.

Those who knew Jean remember her as someone who found joy in the simple rituals of daily life. A true homebody, she thrived when gathering her family around her—whether preparing a favorite meal, sharing heartfelt stories, or simply being present for those who needed her. Every memory is touched by Cecila’s kindness and quiet resilience.

As we bid farewell to Jean, the legacy she leaves is profound: a home filled with memories, hearts touched by her love, and a tradition of togetherness that will live on for generations.

Bobby Mann, Terry Mann, Dennis Mann, Chad Baker, Joshua Lee, and Curtis Lee Mann II have been asked to serve as pallbearers.
