Mrs. Catherine F. (Helmase) Grant, age 66 of Holly Pond, AL, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Cathy was a strong woman with a big heart. She had a passion for service in the community.

She is survived by her husband – James Edward Grant; daughters – Tiffany Richter (Chris), Mary Loyd (David), and Elizabeth Nayman (Josh); grandchildren – Autumn Hendrickson, Peyton Richter, Olivia Richter, James Loyd, Harley Marsh, Ava Marsh, Lela Mae Nayman, and Nolen Loyd; great granddaughter – Aurora Hendrickson; brother – Michael Stephen Helmase (Carol); and a host of extended family and close friends.

Cathy is preceded in death by an infant child; her parents – John Stephen and Barbara Frances (LaShomb) Helmase; and brothers – Mark Helmase and Patrick Helmase.

Reverend Dwight Kidd and Reverend Lisa Holmes will conduct the Memorial Service on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holly Pond Methodist Church. The family will receive friends, at Holly Pond Methodist Church, from 10:00 AM until Service Time.
