We lost our Wonderful mother, Carolyn Lloyd on June 12, 2017. Carolyn would like you all to know, her work here is done! She lived a very full life with lots of travel, family time, dancing the night away with dad and so much laughter, it would make your eyes water. She loved volunteering, spending time at the Senior Center and always living life to the fullest even when she felt like crap. Carolyn is survived by her daughters Carolyn Boyer (Michael), Cathy Speare (Christl), Candy Rogers (Ed), Colleen Perkins (Kevin) and her felt like a daughter Peggy Lindsey. She had 4 sisters Sarah Bailey (Bob) Barbara Gorton (Tony), Violet Hutton and her twin sister Sharon Rinaldi. She adored her 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren as well as 29 Nieces and Nephews. A few other things we want you to know is our mom was very compassionate, most of you more than likely at one point lived with us, she enjoyed euchre, pinochle, and games in general, specifically she always beat us in scrabble and was a wiz kid when it can to numbers and math. She loved being independent and loved everyone for who they were without judgement. She was a cool mom and we are so glad to have spent so much time enjoying the things she loved most.
Mom's wishes were to not have a funeral, not to cry but to think of the blast she has had for the past 76 years. Everyone please raise a glass and have a toast on her behalf.
Know life is not about the things you have but about the people that surround you, like Carolyn she left all her fortune to some guy she barely knew! Enjoy life as we only get one chance, make it a good one. In Lieu of flowers you can donate in her memory at COPD or National Kidney Foundation
