Mrs. Carolyn Faye Green, age 75 of Altoona, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023 at her residence.

She is survived by her children – William Green (Charlotte), Pam McCombs (Mike), Byron Green (Tonya), and Melissa Tucker (Chris); grandchildren – Chris Green, Lacey Deerman (Ronnie), Henry Green, Jason McCombs (Joanna), Justin McCombs (Lauren), Hollie McGhee (Wesley), Ericka Slezak (Mitchell), Kaitlin McFarlin (Payton), Alex Green, Dalton Green, Christian Tucker, Trenten Tucker (Emily), and Sophia Poole; great grandchildren – Jalaiah McGhee, Maleah McGhee, Amari McGhee, Isabella Thompson, Makinley Thompson, Madison Green, Vera Green, Ronnie Deerman, Layla Deerman, Leah Larue, Kayla Larue, Alyssa Larue, Eli Murphree, Liam Slezak, and Caroline McFarlin; Siblings – David Collins (Vickie) and Iona Gilbreath; honorary sister – Vickie Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mrs. Green is preceded in death by her husband – William E. Green; son – Henry Dale Green; parents – John and Mollie (Hubbard) Collins; and siblings – Willie Howard, Judy Goss, Jimmy Collins, Pearl Pope, Johnny Collins, Joe Collins, Bobby Allison, and Doris Cox.

Brother Kevin Stephens will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Old Snead.  Mrs. Green will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Chris Green, Jason McCombs, Justin McCombs, Alex Green, Dalton Green, Christian Tucker and Trenten Tucker.
