Mrs. Carol Ann (Nichols) Miller, age 77 of Oneonta, passed from her husband's loving arms into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her home in Rock Spring, Georgia.

Carol Ann grew up in Louisiana and moved to Albertville, Alabama as a teenager.  She and Windell met and were married a year later, and after a dozen years in the Birmingham area, they moved to Oneonta where they would make wonderful friends and memories for almost 45 years.  In mid 2019, Carol and Windell began living in Georgia where their devoted daughter, Sandra, would embrace the privilege to help care for her mother until she received her ultimate healing.

Carol Ann is survived by her loving husband of 59 years – Thomas Windell Miller; son – Thomas Edwin Miller; daughter and son-in-law – Sandra and Jay Henry; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and brother Arthur Daniel Nichols.

Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents – Charles Franklin Nichols and Velma Idel (Willoughby) Nichols; and siblings – William Robert Nichols, Betty Jean Langston and Charles Ray Nichols.

The funeral service for Carol will be Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 2pm at The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home in Snead, Alabama, Reverend Don Skinner will be officiating.  Entombment will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Gardens, 2200 South Cedar Lane, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742.  Visitation will be at Snead Funeral Home on Saturday from 12pm until funeral time.

Honorary Pallbearers will be - Ralph Willoughby, Rodney Willoughby, Andrew Miller, Austin Henry, Daniel Henry, and Jay Henry.

The family is so grateful for all of the prayers from dear friends and family, and is very appreciative of the loving caregivers who helped take care of Carol in both Oneonta and Georgia.
