Mr. Carl Edward Millwood, age 85 of Snead, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham.

He is survived by his wife; Dorothy Greer Millwood, son; David Millwood and wife Lori of Snead, granddaughter; Cynthia Millwood of Douglas, brother; Morris Millwood of Blountsville and sister; Maxine Sterling of Cleveland.

Brother Steve Bush and Brother Don Garrison will conduct the funeral service Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 1 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church, with Snead Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Millwood will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home Wednesday, from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and at the church Thursday from 12 (noon) until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Garrison, David Smith, John Gibbs, Gary Greer, Roy Watkins, and Brett Reid.

Mr. Millwood is going home to meet his parents; George Washington and Annie Sue (Eller) Millwood, and his brothers Jack Millwood, Eulice Millwood and Emmette Millwood.
