Brenda Joyce Bates Wisener, age 81; Born February 28, 1941. She died peacefully from extended illness at her home located in Holly Pond, AL on November 25, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kyle D. Wisener, her parents Ed and Morine Bates, one sister Jeanette Bates Moore, one brother Robert Bates.

She left a legacy of survivor's daughter's Melissa Holmes (Mark), Kyla Campbell (Paul), Kim Priest (James), and Renee Overton (Jerry).

Grand Children, Zachary Holmes (Emily), Joshua Holmes (Kari), Taleah Shelnutt (Johnathan), Tamara Pitts (Cody), Ashley Black (Michael), Amy Black (Mitchell), Jesse Priest, Tristan Priest (Jaycee), Luke Wisener (Kaitlyn), Wesley Overton (Dyanna), Samantha Dawson (Brandon), and Honorary granddaughter Jessica Black.

Great Grand Children, Donovan Holmes, Noah Holmes, Dalyn Bland, Everett Myers, Hattie Holmes, Kylie Holmes, Brooklyn Holmes, Lillian Holmes, Nathan Shelnutt, Cooper Shelnutt, Alexis Pitts, Jaycie Pitts, Charlie Huddleston, Hunter Black, Abby Black, Franklin Bailey, Sarah Black, Stetson Priest, Emery Wisener, Julianna Overton, Hannah Averi Dawson, Kaeden Dawson, Adalyn Dawson and Brynlie Dawson.

A big part of her heart is left with her best long time and life sharing friends Ronnie and Evelene Bobo. Her dear friend and partner in crime Deannie Walker. She left behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends from all over the world. Once you shared a meal at her table you became more than acquaintances you became part of her extended family.

Brenda Joyce Wisener often lovingly referred to as "Gypsy" loved life living at its borders and all the fullness it offered. Back roads and new places were her favorites things. She loved to paint, cook, sew and any new adventure. She has left behind a beautiful legacy not only for her family but for all the lives she has touched.

Celebration of life service Monday November 28, 2022, at Holly Pond United Methodist Church she will lie in state at the church from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm with services to follow at the church.
