Ms. Bonnie M. Pelham, age 81 of Horton, AL., passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at St. Vincent East Hospital.

Ms. Pelham was a member of High Mound Missionary Baptist Church and loved to pass the time working puzzle books.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter Sandra Lee Potts of Huntsville, AL.; her daughter Sharon Diane Battles of Snead, AL.; her son Michael Landon Pelham of Geraldine, AL.; her son Rodney Lewis Pelham of Oneonta, AL.; 19 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; her brother J.B. Venable of Snead, AL.; and her sister Linda Bates of Crossville, AL.

Ms. Pelham is preceded in death by her husband James Walter Pelham, Sr.; her children Pete Pelham, James Walter Pelham, Jr., Tony Anthony Pelham, Richard Allen Pelham, and Bobbie Gail Walker; her mother Beulah Odell Taylor Steele and her father George Lee Steele.

Paule Jones will conduct the funeral service on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at High Mound Cemetery. Ms. Pelham will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Friday from 12(noon) until funeral time.

Chucky Potts, Brian Potts, Roger Battles, Jimmy Battles, Austin Potts, Paul Pelham, Jacob Pelham, and Gary Faulkner will serve as pallbearers.
