Mr. Bobby Cecil Smart, age 70, went home to meet the Lord Tuesday, May 22, 2012.

Mr. Smart was born July 26, 1941 to Emmett Cecil and Kathleen (Hastings) Smart. He was a member of Highmound Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, his wife of 52 years, Laura Ann Fountain Smart, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Smart loved everyone, a good auction, and his John Deer Gator.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Fountain Smart of Old Snead; his children, Bobby Ray Smart of Snead, Sandy and Randy McBrayer of Old Snead, and Tom and Audra Hudgins of Snead; grandchildren, Shawn Collins, Clint and Megan Collins, Heather and Jonathan Hannah, Bobby J. Smart, Hunter and Brooke McBrayer, Tommy Hudgins, Scotty Hudgins, Rick and Christine Hudgins, and Marcus Hudgins; great-grandchildren, Chloe Beth Harper, Zoey Rae Hudgins, Derrick Thomas Hudgins, Billy Nicholas Hudgins, and Brantley Luke Collins; siblings, Janie Williams of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Joyce and Raymond Talley of Brooksville, Katie Hollis of Boaz, Jerry and Sarah Smart of Old Snead, and Faye and Joel Kitchens of Social Circle, GA;
a sister-in-law, Dorothy Smart of Old Snead; and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Smart is going home to meet his parents, Emmett Cecil and Kathleen (Hastings) Smart; brothers, Clyde Smart, Grady Smart, and Jimmy Smart; sister, Rosie Jones; and brother-in-law Marlin Fountain.

Brother David Jackson and Brother Frankie Powell will conduct the Funeral Service on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2 P.M. from Highmound Missionary Baptist Church with Snead Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Smart will Lie In State at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Friday from 8:30 A.M. until 12 (noon) then at the church from 1 P.M. until Funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Collins, Clint Collins, Bobby J. Smart, Jonathan Hannah, Hunter McBrayer, Tommy Hudgins, Scotty Hudgins, Ricky Hudgins, and Marcus Hudgins.
