Bobby Bruce Lusk, Sr., age 79, passed away April 29, 2021, surrounded by his beautiful wife and family.
Bobby was born July 1, 1941 in Scottsboro, AL, then moved to Winfield, AL where he met his wife. He lived for several years in New Orleans, LA and Phenix City, AL then retired to Boaz, AL. During these periods of time he served as a Birmingham Police Officer, he retired from The United States Navy, and was a retired Alabama State Trooper.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents – Virgil and Vera Lusk; siblings Gladys (Clifton) Moor, and Alton (Shirley) Lusk, brother-in-law – William Harbin; daughters – Anna Roberts and Abbie Lusk; and grandchild – Stevie Thompson.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 55 years – Sandra J. Lusk; children – Bobby (Nita) Lusk, Jr., and Amanda (Aaron) Stange; son-in-law – Scott Wallace; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister – Diane Harbin; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Brother Curtis Hawkins, Karl Moor, and Amanda Stange will conduct the Memorial Service on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church. Interment with Alabama State Trooper and The United States Navy Honors will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Grace Baptist Church on Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Pallbearers will be – Bobby Lusk, Jr., Jacob Stange, and Tucker Wallace.
