Mrs. Betty Lou (Marids) Morse, age 79 of The Brooksville Community, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years – Bueford Morse; daughter – Tonya Morse; grandchildren – Sarah Weaver, Logan Weaver, Austin Hogue, Makayla Morse, and Nicholas Morse; and sisters – Mary Sue Hancock (Carl) and Charlie Ann Shelton (Larry).

Mrs. Morse is preceded in death by her sons – Ricky Hughlan Morse and Michael Morse; parents – Arnett and Irene (Hinds) Mardis; brother – James Sebron Mardis; and grandparents – Joseph Walton and Tessora (Ogletree) Hinds.

Brother Jeff Hood will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Summit Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 12:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Dale Shelton, Dean Shelton, Jeffery Shelton, Dalton Shelton, Mark Foster, and Jeff Hood.
