Mrs. Berta Sue Holland, age 78 of Horton, AL., passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

Mrs. Holland is survived by her husband - Joyal Wayne Holland of Horton; her daughter and son-in-law - Cindy and Johnny Horn of Oneonta; her son and daughter-in-law - Greg and Opal Owen of McClarty; her son and daughter-in-law - Anthony and Judy Holland of Douglas; her daughter and son-in-law - Debra and Charlie Lang of Rainbow City; her grandson and wife - Jeromy and Cammy Holland of Albertville; her grandson and wife - Jason and Angie Smith of Douglas; her grandson and wife - Justin and Raquel Smith of Sardis; her great grandchildren - Noah Smith, Avery Smith, Sadie Smith, Addison Holland, and Walker Smith; and her brother - Johnny Mack Copeland of Texas.

She is preceded in death by her first husband - John Owen; her father - Bert Copeland; and her mother - Maxine NeSmith Copeland.

David Poole and Anthony Holland will conduct the funeral service Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00am at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Holland will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Friday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and Saturday at the church from 10:00am until funeral time.

Chris NeSmith, Ronald NeSmith, Tommy Burns, Harold Emery, David York, Justin Smith, Jason Smith, and Jeromy Holland will serve as pallbearers.
