Mrs. Bernice Ethel Hathorn, age 89 of Horton, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at her residence.

She is survived by sons; Charles Hathorn and wife Regina of Snead, and Ray Hathorn and wife Leslie of Destin, FL, daughter Deborah Young of Snead, grandchildren; Kelli Smith and husband Mike, Wendy Cox and husband Paul, Jason Young and wife Tiffanie, Bruce Hathorn and wife Patti, and Lance Hathorn, great-grandchildren; Brianna Hathorn, Brooke Hathorn, Bryant Hathorn, Tyler Young, Patrick Cox, Katie Cox, Christian Cox, and Julian Cox, brothers; Dale Johnson and wife Mary Jo of Snead and Clayton Johnson of Killeen, Texas.

Brother Kenneth Shelton will conduct the funeral service in the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 2 P.M. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Sunday from 8 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Hathorn, Lance Hathorn, Bryant Hathorn, Jason Young, Mike Smith and Paul Cox.

Mrs. Hathorn is going home to meet her husband Dennis Hathorn and brother Clinton Johnson.
