Obituary

Mr. Bennie Ford Hyde, age 80 of Albertville, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Hyde attended Alabama Polytechnic Institute (which is now Auburn University) in 1959-1960. He was an avid Auburn Fan and loved attending Auburn football games. He was a member of Red Ridge First United Methodist Church in Dadeville.

He is survived by his sons: Michael and Deborah Hyde of Opelika and Wade Hyde of Atlanta.

Sisters: Ladora Painter of Susan Moore, and Rosa Lee Hooten of Arab,

Brother: Beecher and Rebecca Hyde of Boaz,

Sister In Law: Peggy Brown of Snead,

A Host of Nieces and Nephews.

Steve Bush will conduct the Funeral Service Saturday at 1:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home with Interment at Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Hyde will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home, Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Greg Brown, Dalton Brown, Jake Smith, Case Hyde, Ronnie Hyde, and Craig Shirley.

Mr. Hyde is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Belle (McCall) Hyde, his parents: Luther F. and Rosa Mae (Breasseale) Hyde, and his siblings: J.B. Hyde, Mildred Shirley, Jo Creel, Johnny Hyde, and James L. Hyde.
