Mr. Benjamin Bowen, of Oneonta AL. passed away early December 26, 2024 surrounded by family. Mr. Bowen was born to J.T. and Grace Carnes Bowen. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 44 years, Barbara Bowen, daughters, Kimberly Gillespie, Kristie Pippin (Tony), Cindy White, Stacie Bowen, son, Jason Cornay (Shanta); his grandchildren, Dustin Pippin (Maranda), Montana Pippin (Katie), Katelynn Shell (Brandon), Koriann Washburn (Phillip), Kristen Gillespie, Christopher Lolley (Brittany), Dakota Mooneyham, Sara Mooneyham, Daniel White, Dustin White, Tiffany Cornay; many great grand-children and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents J.T. and Grace Carnes, sisters, Martha Matthews, Linda Rooks, Terry Watkins, brother, Jerry Bowens, grandson, Anthony Pippin, jr., nephew, Shane Watkins.

Mr. Bowen was a true animal lover, especially his dogs. He loved rabbit hunting, fishing and cooking whether it was on the stove, his grill or on his smoker.

Pall bearers will be Phillip Washburn, Brandon Shell, Dustin Pippin, Montana Pippin, Allen Bickerstaff, Ray Byrd, Kenneth Gillespie, and              Tony Pippin.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 AM. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial immediately following Funeral Service at Mt. Ebell Cemetery in Oneonta.
