Mr. Basilio Nuñez Perez, age 80 of Ashville, AL., passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Perez is survived by his wife – Allie Perez, his children – Thomas Perez (Tracy), Patricia Myers (Matt), Teresa Rodriguez, Betty Veronica Zavala (Osvaldo), Lola Zatarain (Jose Alfredo), John Williams, Jr. (Rose), Jennie Wilemon (Merle), Norma Miguel Chaney (Jamey), Consuelo Harris (Bobby), Carmen Leal (Jesus), and Rochelle Ibanez (Feliciano), his sister – Julia Madrid, his brother – Manuel Perez, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father – Eugenio Perez, his mother – Anita Perez, his sisters – Lucy Madrid, Vera Renteria, and Mariana Cruz, and his brothers – Juan Perez, George Perez, and Eugene Perez.

Brother Richard Crocker will conduct the funeral service on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery on Straight Mountain. Mr. Perez will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 12 (noon) until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be John Williams, III, Jamey Chaney, Carlos Rodriguez, Victor Zatarain, Jimmy Dickinson, Aquilino Fitts, Blake Sheppard, Merle Wilemon, Zachary Harris and Christopher Harris.
