Mrs. Barbara Smith Van Wagner, age 72 of Horton, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville.

She is survived by her children – Roger and Susan Van Wagner, Debra Van Wagner Millwood, Teresa and Allen Entrekin, and J.D Van Wagner, Jr. (Wendy Sims); grandchildren – Roger Dale and Samantha Van Wagner, Elizabeth and Erick Allmon, Cynthia Millwood (Ricky Moore), Tracy Sanders, Keith and Hannah Jackson, Caleb Entrekin, Emily Entrekin, Ammie Entrekin, and Dylan and Alaina Entrekin; 13 Great Grandchildren; mother – Parrie Lee Smith; and siblings – Jackie and Connie Smith, Hubert Smith, and Buford and Elaine Smith.

Mrs. Van Wagner is preceded in death by her husband – James David Van Wagner, Sr.; and father – Sherman Smith.

Brother Kerry Simpson will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at High Point Cemetery.  Mrs. Van Wagner will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Ronald Smith, Dan Floyd, Allen Entrekin, Ricky Moore, Teddy Tyler, Dale Van Wagner, Caleb Entrekin, and Erick Allmon.
