Mrs. Barbara McLendon Owens, age 82 of Snead, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Vincent's Birmingham.

She is survived by her husband – Tommy H. Owens; son – Marc Alan Owens (Amy); grandsons – Lukas Alan Owens (Destiny) and Jacob Marc Owens; sister – Bobbie Lowery; and brother – A.W. McLendon (Dean).

Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her parents – Curtis Andrew and Willie Mae (Groover) McLendon; and brother-in-law – Mack Lowery.

Pastor Chris Johnson and Brother Mike Pollard will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Owens will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Luke Owens, Jake Owens, Jimmy Ogle, James Robert Newell, Byron Todd, Phillip Tipton, Jr., and Wayne Haynie.
