Mrs. Barbara Ann Champion, age 84 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at Prattville Health and Rehab.

She is survived by her son – Jerry Champion (Sandra) of Montgomery; her daughter – Annita Sanders (Joey) of Cleveland; her daughter-in-law – Diane Champion of Cleveland; her grandchildren – Jeremy Champion (Teri), Christy Norris, Anthony Champion, Whitney Thompson (Eric), Andrew Champion, Colton Sanders, Dyllan Sanders, and Rachel Champion; her great grandchildren – Destiny, Cain, Baylee, Braylan, Jack, Avery, Braden, and Aubrie; her brother – Gary Awtrey of Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Champion is preceded in death by her husband – Carl Champion, Jr.; her son – Kenny Joe Champion; her parents – Henry and Leta Awtrey; and her siblings – Jimmy Awtrey, Andrew Awtrey, Grant Awtrey, Willis Awtrey, and an infant sister.

Brother Tim Green will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery on Straight Mountain.  Mrs. Champion will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Underwood, Anthony Wilson, Matt Washburn, Joseph Tolbert, and Tony Wilson.
