Mrs. Doris Annita Sanders, 61 of Cleveland, Alabama, was born on April 9, 1964, to Carl Junior and Barbara Ann (Awtrey) Champion and passed away on June 12, 2025.  She preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kenny Joe Champion.

Annita is survived by her husband, Joey Sanders; her daughter, Whitney Thompson; her son, Colton Sanders; her son, Dyllan Sanders; her grandchildren, Baylee Thompson, Braylan Thompson, Braden Sanders, Aubrie Sanders, Ray King; her brother, Jerry Champion; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sam Johnson will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 am at Snead Funeral Home in Snead, Alabama.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, Alabama. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Monday from 10:00 am until funeral time.

Andrew Champion, Sterling Hill, Charlie Rojas, Victor Sanchez, Tony Wilson, and Ed Smith have been asked to serve as Pallbearers with Anthony Champion and Jeremy Champion as Honorary Pallbearers.
