With hearts full of both sorrow and gratitude, we remember Andrew Heath Barron, whose radiant yet gentle spirit touched all those who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on August 31, 1999, Andrew’s journey ended too soon on June 23, 2026, in Altoona. Though his years were fewer than we wished, Andrew filled them with profound meaning and warmth, leaving a lasting impact on all who loved him.
From an early age, Andrew showed kindness and empathy that were remarkable. His compassion served as a guiding light to family and friends, offering encouragement and laughter in both joyful moments and times of hardship. He was a steadfast support to his mother, Amy Barron, whose love and strength he always carried with him. Andrew shared a close bond with his sisters, Lexi Bernal (AJ) and Allie Barron, who treasured his companionship, witty humor, and unwavering loyalty.
Andrew’s affection extended even further—he was beloved by his brother Jeremy Marcrum and proud uncle to Remi, Delaney, and Jovey Bernal. His devotion to them was evident in the adventures and guidance he provided, inspiring laughter and curiosity that will continue to brighten their lives. He also cherished his connection with his grandmother, Bobbie Chase, treasuring her stories and wisdom.
Beside his family, Demetria "Fos" Boucounis, his fiancée, mourns his loss.
Andrew’s life was influenced by those before him, including his late father, James Barron, whose memory inspired Andrew to live thoughtfully and cherish every moment with loved ones.
Though Andrew Heath Barron’s time with us was brief, his spirit will forever illuminate the hearts of those who knew him. May we hold fast to his example—living with generosity, kindness, and love—and find solace in our memories of Andrew until we meet again.
