Mrs. Alma Frances (Hawkins) Gill, age 89 of Susan Moore, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at her residence.

She is survived by her children Larry Gill (Martha), David Gill (Delane), Jimmy Gill (Anissa), Linda Turner (Thomas), Carolyn Gill Braggs, and Cathy Gill; 29 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 23 great-great grandchildren; siblings – Jack Hawkins, Sue Evans (David), Helen Massey (Bill), and Sharon Dutton (Alan); and a host of extended family and friends.

Mrs. Gill is preceded in death by her husband – William Kenneth Gill; daughters – Betty Ann Harrison and Patricia Clemons; grandsons – William Vernon Gill and Douglas Bernard Turner; 2 great grandsons; parents – Wilburn and Ethel (Strickland) Hawkins; and sibling – Bruce Hawkins, Hubert Hawkins, James Hawkins, and Jean Stracener.

Brother Don Garrison will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 12:00 PM from the Graveside at Hood Cemetery. Mrs. Gill will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.

Pallbearers will be her family.
