Mr. Allen Lovell Stewart, age 82 of the High Mound Community in Horton, AL., passed away Sunday, July 24, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Stewart was married to the love of his life, Marie Stewart, 62 years. He was a very active member of High Mound Missionary Baptist Church where he began serving as a deacon in 1986.

He is survived by his wife – Marie Stewart of the High Mound Community in Horton, AL., his son and daughter in law – Mike and Sherry Stewart of Demopolis, AL., his son and daughter in law – Terry and Lisa Stewart of the McClarty Community in Horton, AL., his son and daughter in law – Tim and Beverly Stewart of Sneedville, TN., his grandson and his wife – Brandon and Jamie Stewart, his granddaughter – Celia Thomas, his grandson and his fiancé – Casey Stewart and Karissa Dailey, his granddaughter – Rachael Stewart, his grandson and his fiance – Michael Rainwater (Carrie Ouellette), his granddaughter and her fiancé – Taylor Stewart and Colton Jacobs, and his granddaughter – Lindsey Stewart,  and his great grandchildren – Dallas, Landrey, Bella Ann, Presley Ann, Effie Grace, Rebecca, and Sadie.

Mr. Stewart is preceded in death by his parents – Edgar Allen and Dessie Lee (Frachiseur) Stewart, and his brothers – Hurbert Stewart and Norrell Stewart.

Brother Paul Kelley and Brother Larry Camp will conduct the funeral service Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at High Mound Missionary Baptist Church, with Snead Funeral Home Directing.  Interment will follow in High Mound Cemetery.  Mr. Stewart will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and from 8:30 am until 10:00 am.

Pallbearers will be – Roger Peppers, Jim Frachiseur, Bob Frachiseur, Mark Jones, Harold Rosser, and Kevin Peppers.
