Mr. Albert "Sonny" Hogeland, age 72 of Altoona, AL., passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his residence.

He is survived by his children – Evie Freeman (Glenn) of Lacy Springs, AL., Ann Weaver (Charlie) of Walnut Grove, AL., Bryan Hogeland (Ricky Corville) of Walnut Grove, AL., Angela Oden (Mark) of Oneonta, AL., and Joshua Hogeland of Oneonta, AL., 10 grandchildren and expecting 1 grandchild; 8 great grandchildren and expecting 1 great grandchild; brother – Michael Hogeland (Connie) of Snead, AL., brother – Stevie Hogeland of Anniston, AL., sister – Annette Hogeland Smith of Anniston, AL., and sister – Melinda Garrison (Bobby) of Snead, AL.

Mr. Hogeland is preceded in death by his grandchildren – Darryl Ray Crafton and Meagan Renee Hogeland; parents – Thomas Gilbert Hogeland and Eillene Davis Hogeland, and his siblings – Thomas Clay Hogeland, Judy Garrard, Jewell Samples, and Larry Hogeland.

The family has elected cremation.  A memorial service will be scheduled by the family at a later time.
